Fond Doux Plantation & Resort was awarded The 2019 Americas' Most Eco-Friendly Hotel at the prestigious World Boutique Hotel Awards ceremony held at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall, London on November 6th 2019.
The Boutique Hotel Awards is the first and only international awards organization exclusively dedicated to recognizing unique excellence among boutique hotels.

Fond Doux Plantation & Resort today announced that it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame.
Now in its ninth year, the achievement celebrates businesses that are consistently excellent – having earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include restaurants, accommodations and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.
Green Hotelier of the Year
As the world celebrated Earth Day, Caribbean Journal awarded Eroline Lamontagne of the Fond Doux Plantation & Resort as the Green Hotelier of the year.
Every day is Earth Day at the Fond Doux Plantation & Resort. As a strong supporter of the Paris agreement, the plantation resort is doing all in its power to help reduce its carbon footprint. The Green Globe certified locally owned, managed and staffed plantation resort continues to lead by example with their sustainability efforts and have made outstanding contributions to the solution of reducing single use plastics.
Trip Expert 2019 Award
The award winning Fond Doux Plantation & Resort’s Mamma La Terre Spa and Bamboo Restaurant are among the recipients of the 2019 Experts' Choice Award from Trip Expert.
Fond Doux Plantation & Resort co-owner and manager, Mrs. Eroline Lamontagne, was recently named a winner of the MBE Award (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) given by the Queen of England. Based on outstanding achievement and service to the community, Mrs. Lamontagne was nominated by St. Lucia’s Prime Minister for her passion and commitment to the island of St. Lucia through business.
